Host Guide
A practical, step-by-step guide to listing and renting out your place on Biverio — from creating your account to getting paid.
1. What Biverio gives you
- A free public listing page for your venue (own URL, photos, description, price list, availability calendar).
- Direct booking requests from guests — no commission on bookings.
- Built-in tools to manage bookings, payments, and guest communication from one dashboard.
- A 30-day free trial on every new venue before any subscription fee applies.
2. Creating your account and first venue
There are two ways to get started — pick whichever is faster for you:
A. Start by creating your venue (fastest path)
- Go to the homepage and click Add your place.
- Fill in your venue's basic information (see section 3) — you don't need an account yet.
- At the end of the wizard you'll be asked for your name, email, and password to create your host account.
- Check your inbox and click the confirmation link to activate your account.
- Log in and your venue is ready to finish and publish.
B. Sign up first, then add a venue
- Click Sign Up and fill in your name, email, and password (with consent to data processing).
- Confirm your account via the email link.
- From your Dashboard, click Add place to start the venue wizard.
3. Building your venue listing
The venue editor is a 3-step wizard. You can jump between steps at any time using the top menu, and see a live preview of your public page on the right as you type.
Step 1 — Basic information
- Name of your place — pick something memorable; it also becomes part of your page's URL.
- Photos — JPG/PNG/GIF/HEIC images or MP4 video (max 20 MB). Add as many as you like; drag to reorder.
- Location — country, region, city, and address so guests can find you.
- Maximum number of guests — the capacity guests will book against.

Price list — add one or more date ranges, each with:
- a standard nightly price,
- an optional weekend price (applied Friday–Saturday; leave at 0 to reuse the standard price),
- a minimum stay (in nights).
You can add multiple ranges to cover a full season — a warning banner tells you if any dates are missing a price, with a one-click Add button to fill the gap.
Set your listing currency (PLN or USD) here — prices are always shown to guests in this currency; exchange rates are only used internally for search sorting/filtering, never to convert what guests see.
- Additional fees (cleaning fee, service fee) — added automatically to every booking total.

Payment information — tell guests how to pay you once a booking is confirmed:
- bank account number (IBAN or local, any country) and SWIFT/BIC for international transfers,
- account holder name,
- BLIK phone number (Poland only),
- free-text field for any other payment method (PayPal, cash, crypto, etc.),
- required deposit (%) — if guests must pay a percentage upfront, set it here; it will be calculated automatically in guest emails.
Leave any field blank to hide it from guests — fill in only what you actually accept.
- Contact data — your email/phone shown to guests (defaults to your account's).
Step 2 — Description and amenities
- Description — write what makes your place special. Click the wand icon to auto-generate a first draft with AI, then edit it to taste. A short one-line summary is also generated automatically in the background whenever you save, for use in search results.
- Area — total size in m² or ft² (optional; guests can toggle units on the public page).
- Tags — short descriptive labels for your venue type.
- Facilities — check every amenity you offer (Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, pool, sauna, parking, etc.) — guests filter search results by these, and they're grouped on your public page into "In the room," "Wellness & relaxation," and "Outdoors & surroundings."
- Service languages — pick which languages you can host guests in.

Rules and policies:
- check-in / check-out times,
- house rules (one per line),
- safety features (smoke detector, fire extinguisher/first aid, external monitoring, digital lock),
- cancellation policy text + an optional link to full details,
- regulations — upload PDF/DOCX documents (max 5 MB each, up to 5 files) such as house regulations.
- Social media — link your venue's social profiles.
Step 3 — Page appearance
Colors, fonts, logo, and background image for your public listing page.
4. Publishing your venue
Once your listing looks good, use the Publish / Unpublish toggle at the bottom of the editor to make it visible in search and bookable by guests. You can unpublish at any time to temporarily hide it (e.g. off-season) without losing your data.
Deleting a venue is only available while it's unpublished — unpublish first if you need to permanently remove a listing.
5. Free trial and subscription
- Every new venue gets a 30-day free trial — fully visible and bookable, no card required.
- After the trial, keeping a venue visible to guests requires an active subscription, billed per venue: 20 PLN or $5/month (monthly or yearly billing available).
- Your dashboard shows a banner with your trial countdown (with reminder emails at 3 and 1 days before it ends), or your active plan with a Cancel subscription link and a billing-portal link to update your payment method.
- If a subscription payment fails, or your trial ends without subscribing, the affected venue is automatically hidden from guests — your data isn't lost, and it reappears as soon as you subscribe.
6. Managing bookings
Open Manage bookings for a venue (from the venue editor header, or your dashboard) to reach the booking manager page. Your dashboard also splits your bookings in two: guest bookings at your venues (what this section covers) and your own bookings as a guest elsewhere on Biverio. The booking manager has:
- Calendar view — see booked dates at a glance, including the price for each day and a currency legend.
- Pending / Confirmed / Past lists — each searchable by guest name, email, or reservation number. Empty lists are hidden automatically so the page stays clean.
- Confirm / Reject — act on pending requests; the guest is notified automatically.
- Add booking — manually create a booking (e.g. for a phone/offline reservation) directly from the calendar.
- Cancel — cancel a confirmed or pending reservation (guest is notified; this can't be undone).
- Messaging — open a booking's details to exchange messages with the guest directly (updates near-instantly).
- Subscribe to calendar — a one-way iCal export link you can add to Google/Apple/Outlook calendar to see all your bookings alongside your other events (each booking also has its own "Add to calendar" .ics download).
- All reservations — a full, searchable list of every booking for the venue.
Separately, before a guest even books, they can reach you through a Contact host button on your public page — those messages are delivered straight to your email (the contact address from your Payment/Contact section, or your account email), not into an in-app inbox.
7. Keeping guests informed: operational status
Each confirmed booking has an Operational status you control — it's your record of where things stand (deposit, payment, check-in, etc.):
New → Deposit information → Deposit invoiced → Deposit paid → Deposit returned → Payment information → Payment invoiced → Payment received → Payment returned → Checked in → Completed
Changing the status does not send anything automatically — it's just your internal tracking. To actually notify the guest:
- Pick the new status from the dropdown.
- Click the envelope button next to it.
- A popup shows you an exact preview of the email the guest will receive (subject, message, and — for the "Deposit information" / "Payment information" statuses — your payment details, the required amount, and, if you set a deposit percentage, the exact deposit amount or remaining balance due).
- Click Send to actually deliver it, or Cancel to back out.
This gives you full control: change statuses freely as you track progress, and only send an email when you're ready.
8. How payments between you and your guest actually work
Biverio never processes, holds, or takes a cut of booking payments. Deposits and final payments are arranged and settled directly between you and the guest, outside the platform, using whichever method you set up in your venue's Payment information (bank transfer, BLIK, or anything else). The only payment Biverio itself ever processes is your own host subscription fee (section 5) — that's a completely separate charge, unrelated to what guests pay you for their stay.
Biverio's job is to make that off-platform exchange easy to set up and track, through the fee/deposit setup in your venue editor and the Operational status + email system (section 7). Here's how a typical booking's money flows, step by step:
- Guest requests a booking → you Confirm or Reject it (section 6).
- (Only if you require a deposit) — set the status to Deposit information and click the envelope button. The guest receives an email with your bank/BLIK/other payment details and the exact deposit amount due, worked out automatically from your deposit percentage and the booking total — nothing for either of you to calculate by hand.
- The guest transfers the deposit straight to your account. Biverio isn't involved in this step and has no way to see or confirm that the transfer happened.
- Once you see the money land in your own account, mark the booking Deposit paid — this just updates your own record and sends nothing to the guest.
- Whenever suits you (e.g. closer to the stay), set the status to Payment information and send it. The guest gets an email with the remaining balance — the total minus any deposit already paid — and how to pay it.
- Once you've actually received the full amount, mark it Payment received.
- Use Checked in and Completed afterwards just to keep your own booking history tidy — these don't move any money either.
Because Biverio never touches the funds, you're free to accept anything you're comfortable with — cash on arrival, PayPal, cryptocurrency — just list it under "Other payment methods" in your Payment information. The one rule of thumb: only mark a status as paid once you've personally confirmed the money is actually in hand, since guests are trusting your status updates and emails as their record of the transaction.
10. Quick checklist for a new listing
- ☐ Name, at least one photo, location, and capacity set
- ☐ At least one price range covering your available dates (with no gaps)
- ☐ Description written (or AI-generated and edited)
- ☐ Facilities checked
- ☐ Check-in/out times and house rules filled in
- ☐ Payment information filled in for every method you accept
- ☐ Deposit percentage set, if you require one
- ☐ Venue published
- ☐ Subscription set up before your 30-day trial ends (or plan to unpublish before then)
